Launched in 2013, the scheme mandates that larger energy suppliers fund energy-saving measures for eligible households.

You will qualify for free heating and insulation through an NHS referral. For health conditions related to mobility/cardiovascular (high blood pressure, heart failure, stroke) /respiratory (asthma, lung cancer, COPD) / immunosuppressed (cancer, splenectomy, rheumatological disease).
You will qualify if someone in your household is in receipt of benefits. These are: pension savings credit, tax credit, universal credit, child tax benefit, working tax, housing benefit, employee & support allowance, income support. pension guarantee credit.
If your combined Income before tax is below £31,000 annually, you will be eligible for free heating and insulation upgrades.
The property should have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of D, E, F, or G.If you're unsure of your property's EPC rating, you can check it through the government's EPC register You can still apply even if you don’t have an EPC.
